Which city has the number plate code FR?
FR stands for Freiburg im Breisgau and Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald (Baden-Württemberg). Both registration offices issue FR; the one responsible is the office where you live.
Which registration office is responsible for my FR number plate?
The one at your main residence, not the one on the number plate. If you live in Freiburg im Breisgau, it's the Zulassungsbehörde der Stadt Freiburg im Breisgau; if you live in Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, the Zulassungsbehörde des Landkreises Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald.
Can I get a personalised FR number plate online?
When registering or re-registering, the responsible office assigns a number plate. If you reserved a combination with FR there yourself, you enter it with its PIN during the process. We currently don't offer reservations through ZS24.
