Which registration office is responsible for my MZ number plate?
The one at your main residence, not the one on the number plate. If you live in Mainz, it's the Zulassungsbehörde der Stadt Mainz; if you live in Landkreis Mainz-Bingen, the Zulassungsbehörde des Landkreises Mainz-Bingen.
Can I get a personalised MZ number plate online?
When registering or re-registering, the responsible office assigns a number plate. If you reserved a combination with MZ there yourself, you enter it with its PIN during the process. We currently don't offer reservations through ZS24.
