Which city has the number plate code TR?
TR stands for Trier and Landkreis Trier-Saarburg (Rheinland-Pfalz). Both registration offices issue TR; the one responsible is the office where you live.
Which registration office is responsible for my TR number plate?
The one at your main residence, not the one on the number plate. If you live in Trier, it's the Zulassungsbehörde der Stadt Trier; if you live in Landkreis Trier-Saarburg, the Zulassungsbehörde des Landkreises Trier-Saarburg.
Can I get a personalised TR number plate online?
When registering or re-registering, the responsible office assigns a number plate. If you reserved a combination with TR there yourself, you enter it with its PIN during the process. We currently don't offer reservations through ZS24.
